Ah! It's that time of year again.. when we get to feast on spring/summer collections :) Enough of fur coats and thick layering, beautiful as they may be. I am loving this season's creations perfect for our sunny weather!
As with every transition from winter to spring, we see COLOUR. From florals to the most amazing abstract prints, runways are just dripping with rich hues. A personal favourite is Jil Sander's 2011 Spring/Summer show in Milan. Although she had a few looks with prints, I found the plain colour-block looks most inspiring! Makes me want to go to my closet to see what I can put together!

I know it's a teeny bit crazy to walk around town in head-to-toe brights, so try colour-blocking with neutrals and just one bright piece. Blogger Carolina Engman, from www.fashionsquad.com shows us how it's done :

Mmmm.. perfect. Have to go rummage through my wardrobe. NOW.
Definitely inspiring! I'll have to try my hand at color blocking with my closet this weekend, but wouldn't it be nice to have some Jil Sander!?
